Airoid is a local Android app that turns your device into an AirPlay receiver. It does not collect personal information.
What the app does not do
There is no sign-up or login. The app does not request or store email addresses, advertising IDs, contacts, or location data.
Information that stays on your devices
- The pairing name shown during an AirPlay connection is created on the device and is not sent elsewhere.
- Screen and audio data move only between devices on the same network. They are not sent to a developer or third-party server.
- AirPlay discovery needs access to the local network. It does not need an internet connection.
Permissions
- A foreground service and a notification keep mirroring active and show the Quick Settings tile.
- The app does not request microphone, camera, location, contacts, or storage access.
